Put away your excuses, turn the TV off and pick up a book. The big part about living a healthy lifestyle is fueling your brain with the correct information. We as coaches are constantly talking to our athletes about this subject matter, but until these athletes understand it in their own way they will not be successful. We have read a lot of good books on the subject but we can’t use miosis to give you that information. Fortunatley you can go to the book store or use Amazon to get these books. It will take effort on your part, and we all live busy lives from kids to work, but our health should also be at the top of our priority list.
There are couple different athletes out there, the ones that will takes this information and educate themselves, and the ones that want it to be done for them. This is a lifestyle not a 4 week cleansing program. You must be a student of this information, constantly seeking to better yourself. I have been asked several times to construct meal plans for athletes so that they can carry out their eating for the month etc… Unfortunately, discipline doesn’t come that easily. We all have some basic understanding at the gym as to what is healthy or not. You must get off your ass and prepare your own meals a few days at a time or for the entire week, depending on the individual.
Living a healthy lifestyle takes time and effort. Start reading some of the books I have recommend below. Next, experiment with different meals and recipes, and include your family or friends.
