Eric Collins | Coach – firstname.lastname@example.org
Eric has known Carlos and has been working with him since Carlos began coaching Loyola Academy Rowing Association (LARA) in the winter of 2008. Eric was introduced to CrossFit via Carlos, who at the time had brought his excellent coaching and CrossFit experience to Loyola. Carlos wanted to introduce LARA to CrossFit as a method of strength and conditioning with hopes of creating a stronger, healthier and more fit rowing team. It wasn’t long before Eric started to see the results of training CrossFit with Carlos, moving from the 2nd average boat to being in contention for the 1st Varsity competitor boat. Since that day Eric found his true passion and calling for CrossFit, and knew this was something he wanted to continue to pursue well beyond high school athletics.
Eric’s love for CrossFit didn’t stop with the completion of his high school career, it only opened a door for him to continue to expand on his knowledge and opened his eyes to the idea of coaching athletes and follow in the footsteps of Carlos’s great leadership. Eric began his coaching experience with Carlos when Carlos opened CrossFit Impact in the summer of 2010. Eric now works and coaches at CrossFit Impact during the summers, after completion of his second semesters at Purdue University, and during his winter breaks, too. While most college kids are out enjoying their summers, vacationing, etc., Eric is in the gym everyday doing what it is he loves the most.
Eric lives a life that is extremely focused on health and fitness, and loves fostering that mentality as well as teaching it to others. He enjoys sharing his knowledge with the students of CrossFit Impact, and continues to learn from his experiences, past, present and future. Eric looks forward to continue living out this great lifestyle and help others get on this excellent path towards elite fitness.
